Literature reviews
managed by UW Center for AIDS & STD

The purpose of this publication review is to provide health care providers in all economic settings, but especially those in resource-limited settings, with timely and concise information about new developments in STI diagnostics. This information is provided in the form of "annotated abstracts" on  articles reporting original studies and reviews related to STI diagnostics.

The articles to be reviewed will be selected from peer-reviewed journals. Each annotated abstract describes the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the article, and includes a brief commentary by an expert, who will discuss the article according to review criteria described in the publication review guidelines.

The views and opinions expressed in the annotated abstracts are those of the reviewers, and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions or stated policy of WHO.
